I love the diversity of romance novels and this month I’ve got three very different books for you which are all absolutely fabulous in their own unique way. Saint Dick is a phenomenal Christmas romance that should be read at ANY time of the year, Chaos is my Brand is one of the most intelligent and vibrant books I have ever read, and Alien Exile is yet another beautifully written, page-turning, heart wrenching book from Ursa Dax. I loved them all and can’t wait to share my reviews with you!

In this book review blog I’ve got two new authors for you and one of my all time favourites. We’re heading into the world of high end art theft, camping in the wilds of Oregon, and taking a road trip across Australia in ‘The Shaggin Wagon’. These three books are absolutely fabulous romance reads and I hope you love them as much as I do. So, keep your valuables within sight at all times, slap on the sunscreen, and get ready for some glorious grumpy/sunshine!

  • What Evie is Reading

This month I’ve got a Navy SEAL team rescuing a woman and three orphaned girls from a war torn country, a kick-ass marine who’s been kidnapped and dumped on an alien planet, and a Hello Kitty loving hairdresser who finds herself the fake fiancée of her Billionaire boss, ‘Captain Sternpants’... These books are heart-racing, funny-bone tickling, panty-melting delights and I adored them. Read on for all the details!

This week’s blog pie is two thirds virgin, and one third seven foot blue alien, with three incredibly diverse and fabulous romance reads for you to get your teeth into. In Beard Science by Penny Reid, a shy and anxious virgin blackmails the baddest boy in town. In Escort, a reclusive virginal princess in a modern fairy-tale tower hires an escort to, er, well you can imagine. And in Bonded to the Alien Warrior, a woman discovers she shares a ‘sol’ bond with a battle-hardened soldier on an assaination mission. These books are funny, dreamy, and packed with enough action and romance to keep you satisfied for days.

This month’s top picks from my kindle library are a rollicking Vegas wedding romcom, a steamy romance with a scorching hot firefighter, and a magical and glorious love story between a police officer and a six foot three woman who keeps getting into too much trouble courtesy of her wayward grandfather. I just adored these books. Two of the writers are already one-click authors for me, and the third is set to join them. Read on to find out more!

  • Kissing Games Release

Kissing Games is the third novel in the Kinloch series and - cover your ears, my other book children - it’s probably my favourite. The romance between Charlie and Valentina actually began life as a side story in Hollywood Games. I loved the idea of a tattooed, ex special-forces bodyguard falling in love with a hot Hollywood actress, so wrote Charlie Hamilton (Rory’s best mate), getting together with Valentina Valverde who is in Scotland starring in Braveheart 2.

Oh. My. God. This month I had my heart, imagination, soul and libido handed to me on a plate courtesy of some absolutely epic reads. I love it when I start reading a book and right from the beginning I know I’m in safe hands but about to be taken on the ride of my life. I’ve got a second chance love triangle romance, a glorious alien romance, and a reverse age gap trope survivalist love story for you.

I love finding new authors thanks to the passion of readers who recommend their books. This month I was introduced to three authors whose books I just adored. We’ve got a single dad friends-to-lovers romance set in the world of stand-up comedy that had me from the dedication, a wonderfully layered and structured second chance romance between a movie star and a journalist, and a gloriously sexy and funny fish out of water love story between a grumpy mechanic and a romance novelist whose lost her mojo. Read on, my friends, to find out more!

  • What Evie is Reading

This month we’re in Ireland, The Azores and Hawaii for a second chance romance, a singles holiday, and a steamy tale of a nanny and a rugby star. These stories have heart, heat, and enough laughs to make drinking and reading a hazardous occupation when combined… Enjoy my reviews, and don’t forget to recommend my next read via email or social media!
